CALIFORNIA GOSPEL CONFERENCE MARCH 4 - 12, 2009
Divine Mime is a gospel mime group which includes three friends, Kim, Miesha, and Erin who all reside in
Sacramento, California. Our vision is to reach individuals through hearing and seeing the word brought to life
through the power of mime, where people will be delivered, healed and set free. We have been ministering as a
group for three years and has chosen to express praise and worship in a mime format. The dictionary defines mime
as an actor who communicates entirely by gesture and facial expression. Our dramatic costumes include black and
white attire with our faces covered with white paint. Our faces are meant to be hidden so that people do not see us
but rather God (the Holy Spirit) moving within us. We have performed at various churches and conventions
throughout California. In September of 2004 we choreographed a dance for a 9-11 celebration held at U.C Davis
Mondovi Center. Peniel Baptist Church(Richmond), Friendship Baptist Church(Oakland) and New Direction
(Sacramento) are just a few others to mention. We also traveled to Los Angeles to minister in a talent show given by
Little Zion. We have participated in a Hurricane Victims Relief Concert held at Genesis Church. In addition, we have
ministered at the annual Sacramento Black Expo in 2006 and 2007 and has also been performing at the Sacramento
State Fair since 2005. We solely believe in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather together because they are
mine I am there among them.”

Kim Adams is 26 years old and has one daughter. She is a member of Genesis
Church in Sacramento. Kim loves to mime. Three words that best describe her
are determined, outgoing and caring. She began dancing in her home church
dance group, “Anointing” eight years ago. For two semesters while enrolled at
Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, Kim received an achievement award in
modern and jazz composition. She currently teaches a mime class at St.Paul’s
annual praise Dance Explosion. Kim’s future goals include: being the best mother
that she can be while pursuing and achieving Divine Mimes Destiny. “I want to
grow stronger in the Lord to fulfill my purpose and reach my destiny”, states Kim.

Miesha Sanders is 26 years old and attends Phoenix University in Sacramento.

oriented, and independent. Miesha has been dancing throughout her high
schools years and also at her home church with Anointing for eight years. She
currently teaches dance at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento.
Miesha’s future goals include graduating from college in Spring 2008 with a B.A. in
Information Science and by the age of 30 she plans on investing in a dance
studio. “As a woman of God, my goal is to walk in the anointing and fulfillment of
my purpose in life,” states Miesha.
